Dr. Berlingieri
Dr. Berlingieri, a critical care specialist, and Dr. Killorn, a respirologist, have been involved with patients dealing with chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) for many years.
Dr. Berlingieri is a graduate of the University of Toronto who has practised in his specialty, critical care and internal medicine, for almost 20 years. Dr. Berlingieri has a special interest in diseases and conditions that affect the lungs and airways. He has been involved in many clinical studies that have led to improvements in the lives of his patients and that have changed how diseases are treated in Canada. Dr. Berlingieri is constantly looking for and joining clinical studies to compare therapies and to test new therapies that will help control symptoms and reduce attacks/flare-ups in patients with diseases such as asthma, COPD, emphysema, and chronic bronchitis.
Dr. Killorn
Dr. Killorn is a graduate of Queen's University who has practised in his specialty, respirology for over 20 years. Dr. Killorn is interested in how our lungs work and in diseases that affect the lungs and airways. Dr. Killorn has worked and helped patients in hospitals and clinics across Canada and internationally. Back in Canada, Dr. Killorn continues to work with an international research group that is studying new therapies to reduce the symptoms and control diseases that affect the lungs. Dr. Killorn has been involved in clinical research, testing new therapies and new medical devices that can help reduce the symptoms and improve the lives of patients who suffer with COPD for over 10 years.
Dr. Berlingieri, Dr. Killorn, and their team provide their patients with the greatest of medical care and education on how to better manage their disease to help them breathe easier and enjoy life.
